Meet Kathrine Underwood
Kathrine Underwood is a vocalist, songwriter, composer, and educator based in Vineyard, Utah. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music from Utah Valley University, where she specialized in Contemporary Vocal Performance. With a background that bridges performance, production, and education, she brings both creativity and heart to every project she touches.
As a performer, Kathrine has been featured as a lead and background vocalist and keyboardist in UVU’s Sonic Exchange. Her original works and arrangements have been showcased at events like Sema Hadithi’s Ancestral Remembrance Celebration and the Utah Extravaganza: Dancing with the Stars Champions concert. Her portfolio includes vocal arranging, symphonic composition, studio production, and music direction—including her role as music director and accompanist for Cache Theatre Company's The Prince of Egypt.
As a private music instructor of 7 years, Kathrine has worked with students of all ages in voice, piano, songwriting, composition, and music production. Her lessons are built around student goals, creative collaboration, and the belief that what each person brings to music truly matters.
